What we collect

  • Account information: the email address and password you use to sign in
  • Study activity: your practice answers, session results, flashcard review scheduling, target score, and test date
  • Usage analytics: general, anonymized information about how the app is used (pages visited, features used) collected via Google Analytics 4
  • Device and browser information collected automatically as part of normal web analytics

Why we collect it

Account and study data let us save your progress, resume sessions, schedule flashcard reviews, and show you score estimates. Analytics data helps us understand which parts of the app are useful and where students run into trouble, so we can improve it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data about how visitors use the site. This may involve cookies or similar identifiers set by the analytics provider. We do not use this data to individually identify you for advertising purposes.

Third-party service providers

We rely on a small number of third-party service providers to run MyScorePrep:

  • A hosted database provider (we use Supabase) to store account and study data securely
  • An analytics provider (Google Analytics 4) for anonymous usage insights
  • A hosting provider to serve the website and app

Data retention

We retain account and study data for as long as your account is active, so your progress remains available to you. If you request deletion, we remove your account data as described below.

Account deletion and data requests

To request deletion of your account and associated data, or to ask what data we hold about you, email support@myscoreprep.com from the address associated with your account.

Children's use

MyScorePrep is intended to be used by students, including those preparing for a college admissions test while in high school. We encourage parents and guardians to be involved in how younger students use the app and to review this notice together. If you're a parent with questions about your child's account, contact us at support@myscoreprep.com.

Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time as the app changes. We'll update the date at the bottom of this page when we do.
